The simple, two dimensional silhouette relies on a tensioned electrical cable for support. Constructed in spun aluminum and steel, the product breaks down for easy shipping. The Fortuny floor lamp was designed in 1907 by Mariano Fortuny for the Italian manufacturer Pallucco. Fortuny is an expressive floor lamp that is able to put its onlooker into the spotlight, for looking at this floor lamp feels like standing at an old film set or in a photo studio. With this effect the Fortuny itself becomes a lighting diva! The structure of the floor lamp is made of profiled steel channel sections, a drawn flat bar and tubular steel, The lamp shade is made of black and beige cotton (inside white).
Fortuny is rotatable and adjustable in height. The lamp shade is available plain unicoloured or with printed ornaments
