Description
Favn, meaning 'embrace' in Danish, is a collaboration between Spanish artist Jaime Hayon and Fritz Hansen Furniture.

The Favn sofa is an evolution of Fritz Hansen's design language that brings together the qualities of Spanish and Danish design. The work of the artist-designer is characterized by his respect for colours, craftsmanship and techniques. "I wanted to create a form that embraces you, something really organic, that's why I named it FAVN" says Jaime Hayón.

Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have reinvigorated the whole idea of the sofa with the Hay Can Sofa. Something inherently complicated has been transformed into something simple, relaxed and for everyone.

The HAY Can Sofa comes flat-packed and is assembled at home. You get it quicker and in a simpler way as it is easier to transport and takes up less space. The idea of the name Can is that “you can”, “you can make it”, just don’t be afraid. Maybe the sofa will raise the fear “can I do this?”, “is it going to be right?” So, it is implemented into the name itself, just don’t be afraid, it will work.

The vision of Anne Boysen, following her winning the Erik Jørgensen Design Award in 2011 – the EJ 123 merges the uses of an armchair, sofa, chaise longue and a tete-a-tete all into one design. A comfortable sofa that allows you to lounge in multiple ways, the design is a base with a mattress and two back rests in different sizes. The two loose and interchangeable cushions further opens up for a versatile appearance and function. Toward has feet in brass and an eclectic mix of six types of upholstery combining in varying shades of blue.

`Mr. Green` is the latest addition to the Erik Jorgensen Toward Family, designed by Danish architect Anne Boysen. The sofa consists of six different green woolen textiles from Kvadrat with shoes in solid aluminum.

Toward is the result of the partnership of Danish architect Anne Boysen and Erik Jørgensen, which began after Anne Boysen won the Erik Jørgensen Design Award in 2011. Anne Boysen was inspired by contemporary monochrome colour trends, focussing on the sensuous detail of craftsmanship and developing a creative and playful design.
