Description
Designed by Norman Cherner in 1958 the moulded plywood Cherner armchair is a mid-century icon, found in design collections worldwide. The Cherner chair is now available to a new generation of furniture collectors.
Reissued in exacting detail from the original drawings and moulds, the Cherner armchair combines the best of both moulded plywood and solid bent wood construction. Like the original, the Cherner chair is made entirely in the U.S.A.

Moulded plywood seat with a unique construction of laminated plywood of graduated thickness. This feature, plus the moulding of compound curves of the Cherner Armchair, permits a structurally superior chair which is sculpted in form and ergonomically designed. The sweeping arms designed by Norman Cherner are constructed of solid beech which provides the Armchair with additional strength and beauty.

As the first industrially-manufactured plastic chair, the DSW chair was originally produced in collaboration with Zenith Plastics for the Museum of Modern Art's Low Cost Furniture Design Competition.

The Carl Hansen Wishbone chair is a design classic from Scandinavia.
The Wishbone chair was originally designed in by Hans J. Wegner for Carl Hansen & Son in 1949 and has been produced without interruption since 1950. The CH24 Wishbone chair is light, sculptural and also suitable for relaxed sitting away from the table The frame is steam-bent with gently rounded top-pieces that provides freedom of movement and generous comfort.

Designed by Patrick Norguet for Cassina, the light and balanced design of the Cassina 397 M10 chair is seemingly simple and inviting. Suspended on an upside-down Y shape, a distinctive sign for Patrick Norguet’s work, which follows on from the P22 armchair, the skilful use of wood enhances Cassina’s long-held heritage in carpentry.
The challenge to create the impression of an unstable position is something Patrick Norguet and the Cassina R&D department have worked upon with the M10 armchair, researching materials and technical characteristics to guarantee maximum stability and durability.

The Casamania Vad Wood design is a new version of the VAD chair. The addition of natural oak legs adds a sense of elegance and refinement which adhere to the Scandinavian inspired aesthetics of the original VAD chair.
The body of the VAD chair is durable and striking and is produced in recyclable reinforced polypropylene by means of injection moulding in a single block, using certified Polygiene technology, rendering the product antibacterial.
